FAQ

Eyelash Extensions are a revolutionary new enhancement designed to add length, thickness, and fullness to your natural eyelashes. Lash extensions are single strands of synthetic mink, silk, or real mink eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied one by one onto the natural lash (not the skin) by using a specially formulated adhesive.
You relax with your eyes closed and there is no pain as it is a non-invasive procedure. It is so relaxing that most clients fall asleep. An under-eye gel pad will be used to cover your lower lashes. During the process a natural eyelash is isolated and a extension lash is glued onto your natural eyelash approximately 0.5 mm from the base of your eyelash, so neither the glue not the synthetic lash has contact with the skin.
A full set can take between 1.5-2.5 hour, depending on the set of lashes you desire. It is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and concentration so therefore it should not be rushed and clients can leave with a perfect set of lashes.
Eyelash Extensions can last up to 6-8 weeks with proper care, following instructions and natural lash growth cycle. Remember this is a semi-permanent procedure and each person is individual. A real lash cycle is around 25-30 days and as your grow and fall out, so will the synthetic ones that attached. The look can maintained indefinitely with refills that are recommended to keep your lashes full and fresh looking.
StyLash Extensions can be completely customized to fit your personal taste. You may choose from a number of lengths, curves, and thicknesses. To ensure that the results are exactly what you want, our eyelash extension expert will consult with you before beginning. Since each person’s lashes are unique in terms of strength and length, we will assess your natural lashes to determine what they can support in regards to size. Next we talk with you to learn more about the style you are interested in. Then and only then, will we create the ‘look’ that is best for you.
Touch-ups, also known as refills, are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks depending on your natural lash growth cycle and daily activities. Touch-ups are necessary to replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle. If you wait too long your Eyelash Extensions will fall out and you will require a new full set.
  • Reduce beauty routine time and convenience
  • They are semi-permanent, so you don’t have to worry. In comparison to strip lashes that can slip and become misaligned on the eyelid
  • They add definition to the eye, making your eyes appear younger and lively (some ladies say it’s like an instant eyelift!)
  • Add confidence to your look
When properly applied there is no risk to your natural lashes. They should be seemless, weightless, clump-free and can last for weeks. Our eyelashes have their own shedding life cycle similar to eyebrows and the hairs on your head. So, do not be alarmed if a few natural lashes fall out along with the extensions. This is natural. Be sure to not pick at, pull, or play with your new lashes to help extend the life of the extensions.

One of the benefits of Eyelash Extensions is that your lashes will look long, dark, and full. You will not need to use mascara anymore. However only water based mascara is suitable, and only by applying it to the eyelash tips. Do not apply mascara near the base of the eyelashes. Do not use oil-based or water-proof mascara.

Other types of make-up (shadow, liner, pencils etc.) can be used if they are oil free. Please remember to remove your make-up properly with oil free remover afterwards.
Try your best to arrive without any make-up. This will minimize the cleanup time and allow more time for applying the extensions. You will need to keep your lashes dry for 24 hours after the application so it's also a good idea to have your hair washed the day of or night before. Please remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser. Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application. Do not use eyelash curler or waterproof mascara prior to the extensions. If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them and plan on wearing your glasses for the first 24 hours.
